ASC0245 - Service User Participation Service

Tender description

Leicester City Council (the Council) commissions the provision of Service User Participation Service. The service will facilitate the participation of users in the commissioning processes that support the design, and review of local adult social care services. An important focus for this work will be user participation in local Partnership Boards: the Leicester Learning Disability Partnership Board, the Leicester Mental Health Partnership Board, and the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Autism Board. The Service will also facilitate participation across the full range of adult social care service user groups. Leicester City Council will be holding a Tender information Session on 22nd January 2019. Full details of the event and booking form can be found in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents It is the Authority's view that TUPE is likely to apply in respect of this Contract. TUPE refers to the "Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006" as amended by the "Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014". However, Tenderers will need to reach their own conclusion as to whether or not TUPE applies. The procurement process being undertaken is based upon the `open' tendering procedure as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This procurement process falls under the Light Touch Regime as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Regulation 74 — 77. Keywords: Participation, User, Service
