Tender description

The requirements are for the design and modification of 3 existing FEA-S wagons to be used as support wagons for the Modular Points and Crossing's (P&C) lifting and transportation system. The FEA-S Wagons would form part of an overall consist involving cranes, tilt deck wagons and traction locomotives. These FEA-S wagons are currently only approved for possession only movements on specific parts of the London Underground (LU) Network and require design and modification and new approvals to be used in the P&C system, envisaged to travel in all modified E2 (E2m) gauge areas (sub-surface railway) on both London Underground and Network Rail networks. Interested suppliers are to register onto TfL's e-tendering portal: https://procontract.due-north.com/ to express an interest.
