Supply and installation of mesh panels for bus shelters

Tender description

In areas of high vandalism the West Midlands Combined Authority's (WMCA) strategy is to install steel mesh panels into its bus shelters rather than standard glazing materials, at present this accounts for 134 shelters across the WMCA network. This contract is for the supply, installation and maintenance of mesh panels over a contract period of five years with options to extend, on an annual basis, for up to an additional two years. The panels may also be required for any other WMCA on-street infrastructure such as cycle storage facilities etc. Additional information: Please note that the figure given for the total value of the contract is based on a minimum spend of £25,000.00 p.a. for the 5 years of the initial term of the contract, the final level of spend could be higher. The contract is for a minimum period of 5 years with options to extend, on an annual basis, for up to an additional 2 years.
