‘Housing First’ service for entrenched rough sleepers with complex and multiple needs

The Isle of Wight Council (“the Authority”) invites Quotes from suitably qualified suppliers (“Potential Suppliers”) for the provision of a ‘Housing First’ service for entrenched rough sleepers with complex and multiple needs. The Authority plans to support a cohort of single homeless clients based on a Housing First model for one year. The funding secured through the Rough Sleeper Initiative Grant awarded by the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government will provide for initial start-up and delivery of this pilot. This will allow us to develop the local evidence base to support a business case for permanent funding as part of a wider review of Supported Housing being delivered following integrated commissioning principles. This is a fixed price contract of £60,000. The successful supplier shall receive the full £60,000 to deliver the Housing First service for a 12 month period. The term of the contract shall be from the ‘go live’ date determined by the successful supplier’s mobilisation plan and shall run for a 12 month period from that date.
