Tender description

South Lakeland District Council operates a virtualised environment for its servers. The host and storage hardware that this runs on is now 5 years old and the Council is looking to undertake a refresh of these components. South Lakeland District Council operates a Shared Service for its ICT provision together with neighbouring Eden District Council. Wherever possible, ICT systems are standardised between the two councils. Eden District Council has recently undertaken a data centre refresh, and consequently South Lakeland District Council is seeking to procure matching host and storage hardware.
