Havering Adult College (HAC) is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to simplify processes in procuring providers/ suppliers for the delivery of accredited courses targeted at those aged 19+. The qualified organisations will provide targeted courses in the Havering borough, to promote Adult Education provision and increase participation. Havering Adult College (HAC) will in specific designated periods require suppliers to carry out the delivery of accredited courses targeted at those aged 19+. The focus of this procurement will be to deliver accredited courses (from entry level up to and including level 2, during term time) as stated within the service specification within London Borough of Havering or within a 90 minutes commute to the borough.The Council is looking to award a initial 1 year contract with additional yearly extensions as an option. There will be 4 lots, with details further below. Each lot priced up to 120 000 GBP, price subjected to variation. HAC is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to simplify processes in procuring providers/ suppliers for the delivery of accredited courses targeted at those aged 19+. A DPS is run electronically and is open to new suppliers to join at any time. It effectively forms a pre-qualified pool of suppliers who can be contracted with throughout the life of the DPS following a short “mini-competition”. Lot 1: Construction, Planning and the Built Environment: this will include accredited courses such as painting and decorating, basic construction skills, wall and floor tiling and carpentry and joinery from entry level up to and including level 2. HAC is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to simplify processes in procuring providers/suppliers for the delivery of accredited courses targeted at those aged 19+. A DPS is run electronically and is open to new suppliers to join at any time. It effectively forms a pre-qualified pool of suppliers who can be contracted with throughout the life of the DPS following a short “mini-competition”. Lot 2: Retail, Commercial Enterprise and Creative Industries: This will include accredited courses such as retail skills, music production, filmmaking, animation and web design from entry level up to and including level 2. HAC is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to simplify processes in procuring providers/suppliers for the delivery of accredited courses targeted at those aged 19+. A DPS is run electronically and is open to new suppliers to join at any time. It effectively forms a pre-qualified pool of suppliers who can be contracted with throughout the life of the DPS following a short “mini-competition”. Lot 3: Health, Public Services and Care: This will include accredited courses such as fitness instructing, personal training and fitness instructing (gym-based exercise) from entry level up to and including level 2. Engineering and manufacturing technologies: This will include accredited courses linked to industry such as electrical and electronic engineering and manufacturing apprenticeships with a view to meet demands as required.
