Supply of Contingency Wheels and Axles

Tender description

Lot 1: In November 2017, Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) entered into a long term supply agreement with Bonatrans Group following a competitive tender process (OJEU Ref 2016/S 104-185709) for the core supply of rolling stock wheels and axles estimated at 1460 Wheels and 285 Axles per annum. Due to fluctuations in demand internally, there are occasional requirements where additional and supplementary wheels and axles are required and it is proposed that all such requirements would be offered to the market for consideration by way of separate tender processes. IÉ propose to establish a panel of qualified suppliers of rolling stock wheel and axles who will be invited to tender for these requirements in order to supplement IÉ's existing supply chain.
