NHS England hereafter referred to as "the Authority" would like to invite prospective Bidders to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the intentions to the recommission Healthcare contract in HM Prison & Young Offenders Institution Feltham (HMYOI Feltham) HMYOI Feltham forms part of the Young Peoples Estate for both Young Adults and Young People. Reception criteria: Young People - Sentenced and remanded young people aged 15 - 18 as directed by the courts. Young Adults - Sentenced young adults aged from 18 to 21. Accommodation: Young Adults and Young People occupy separate residential units. Young People - Feltham A There are currently six units in operation for young people including a first night / induction unit. Each Unit holds up to 30 young people. Young Adults - Feltham B There are seven units in operation the Young Adult side with a mixture of double and single accommodation. In compliance with Public Contracts Regulation 2015 and in the interests of transparency, consistency and fairness, the Commissioner is required to undertake a formal procurement process at the contract expiry of the existing contracts. The existing Healthcare contract in HMYOI Feltham has been extended and is expiring on 31st March 2020. Service Scope HMYOI Feltham will require the following services to be delivered: 1. Primary Care GP and Nursing services 2. Healthcare Administration 3. Mental Health Services 4. Sexual Health Services 5. Integrated Clinical Substance Misuse Services 6. Integrated Psycho-social interventions service for substance misusers 7. Allied Healthcare Services e.g. Chiropody/Podiatry, Physiotherapy etc. 8. Optometry services 9. Pharmaceutical Services 10. Clinical Waste management 11. Escorts and Bedwatches management 12. Health Promotion 13. Continuity of Care Indicative Project Timeline ITT Publication: Aug - Sep 2019 Bidder Presentations: Oct 2019 Outcome notification: Nov/Dec 2019 Service go-live: 1st April 2010 Additional information: PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE TO 19TH JUNE 2019 The Market Event will be held on 19 June 2019 from 14:00 to 17:00 hrs at etc. Venues, Avonmouth House, 6 Avonmouth Street, London SE1 6NX. To register for the event please complete the online registration by using the'Registration for the Event' link provided on this page. The deadline for registration is 7 June 2019 at 5 pm but may close early. The places are limited and the registration is available on first come first serve basis. An organisation can register up to a maximum of three delegates for the event. The event may be recorded, please let us know in advance if you do not wish to be filmed. The Event will provide: • an overview of the proposed services to be provided • details of the anticipated contract type, length and particular conditions • an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timeline The event will also provide an opportunity to network with other potential bidders, and to ask questions about the project. NEL Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of The Authority is managing the procurement process for this project. The services to which this Procurement relates fall within the "Light Touch Regime" (LTR) of Public Contract Regulations 2015 governing procurement of Health, Social, Education and Other service contracts. Nothing is this advert nor shall any other indication be taken to mean that the Authority intends to hold itself bound to any of the Regulations, save those applicable to LTR provisions.
