Soft Market Test - Virtual School Attendance and Attainment System

Trafford Virtual School manages a bespoke Attendance and Attainment management system for looked after children cared for by Trafford Council. The system has been operating for approximately four (4) years with the contract ending in August 2019. The purpose of this soft market testing exercise is to determine interest from organisations who can build on the success of the current solution by maintaining a robust attendance system, and improving attainment data reporting through responsive and timely inputs. The opportunity to introduce an electronic Personal Education Plan (ePEP) option at a future date should be considered within this exercise. Data quality and security are of the utmost importance, and a database solution must safeguard all sensitive and confidential information. THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION.
