Tender description

The Hampshire Carers Support and Dementia Advisors service will provide information, advice and support activities to carers and individuals living with dementia. The service will be procured through 4 single contract lots. Lot 1: (North and North-East Hampshire) will provide carer support and dementia advisors services to people living in the districts of Basingstoke and Dene and Hart and Rushmoor; Lot 2: (West Hampshire) will provide carer support and dementia advisors services to people living in the districts of Winchester, the New Forest, Eastleigh and Test Valley; Lot 3: (East Hampshire) will provide carer support and dementia advisors services to people living in the districts of Fareham, Gosport, Havant and East Hampshire; Lot 4: will be a carers emergency planning service, provided across the geographical area of the jurisdiction of Hampshire County Council, supporting carers to produce emergency plans for activation when they are unexpectedly unable to undertake their caring role. The services have been procured through the Council running a one stage open procurement process, the services for Lot 1 (North and North East Hampshire) tendered as a single contract lot. For Lot 1 the initial contract term will be 3 years, with scope at the Council’s discretion for a further period or periods of extension not exceeding 2 years. Organisations were able to bid for as many of the 4 lots as they wished.
