School catering services

Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services for a group of 5 Bradford Primary Schools, who are looking to appoint a contractor to provide school meals from September 2019. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with 2 optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budgets and guidelines. There are currently the following numbers on roll: Newhall Park Primary School, KS1-177, KS2-229 Brackenhill Primary School, KS1-169 KS2-242 Farfield Primary, Reevy Cres, KS1-170 KS2-233 Heaton St Barnabas CE Primary School, KS1-180 KS2-240 St Stephens CE Primary School KS1-176 KS2-241. You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service, in line with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: The site visits will take place on week commencing 28.1.2019 as follows: Newhall Park Primary 11:00 a.m. 29.1.2019 Brackenhill Primary 11:45 a.m. 31.1.2019 Farfield Primary 11:45 a.m. 30.1.2019 Heaton St Barnabas CE Primary 11:15 a.m. 1.2.2019 St Stephen’s CE Primary 11:45 a.m. 28.1.2019 Note: Deadline for return of tender is midday Wednesday 27.2.2019. Please note this tender falls under the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
