Tender description

A supplier for the provision of assessment for Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs). The Robert Gordon University Inclusion Centre is seeking to establish an agreement with a supplier for the provision of assessment for Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs). Assess students on the University premises at Garthdee, Aberdeen, with each appointment lasting 1 — 1 ½ hours. The number of completed reports for the last 3 years to date is approximately 750. Students are assessed during term-time (between September and April) with small numbers being assessed outside this period. The successful tenderer must meet the following criteria: Must be: — an educational psychologist, or — an educational professional or specialised teacher who holds a current practising certificate in assessing specific learning difficulties issued by their relevant professional association e.g. the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS), or — an educational professional or specialised teacher who holds a current qualification that allows Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), — must be able to carry out assessments on campus at Robert Gordon University within the time period stated above in 3.3.6, — must have a wide range of experience of learning difficulties.
