Penwortham Priory Academy - Tender for Cleaning Services

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Penwortham Priory Academy (the Client). Contract value approx 260 000 GBP (total for 3 years; 86.6 k EUR per annum approx). Penwortham Priory Academy is an Academy located in the Penwortham area of Preston in Lancashire. The school has approximately 800 pupils. Priory is a school that has the highest expectations of everyone, is caring, progressive with high academic standards, and where individual pupils learn to succeed. The school has some of the finest facilities of any school in Lancashire. An on-going refurbishment programme has allowed the school to develop and maintain state of the art facilities to aid learning and teaching within the school. The school's cleaning services have been contracted out for a number of years and the Client now wishes to put the service out to competitive tender to ensure that it receives best value. It is important to the Client that the successful Supplier works closely with the Client to maintain cleaning standards and provides support to the onsite cleaning team. Some of the cleaning staff have been with the school for a long time. Expressions of interest are invited from Suppliers who have experience of providing cleaning services to schools and who have the appropriate local resource to support the cleaning service at the school. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
