The design and construction of Berth 4: — A 430 m extension of the existing deep-water quay, — Mooring Dolphin, — fenders, bollards and other quayside furniture, — heavy-duty rails and foundations for quay cranes, — dredging of the berth pocket and approaches, — berth pocket scour protection, — earthworks, removal of existing surcharge material and ground improvement, — 10 on shore stacks to be operated by automated stacking cranes (ASCs), — reefer frames, — heavy duty pavements and other surfacing, — surface water drainage, — hazardous container storage including pipework and holding tanks for contaminated effluent, — fire mains and associated pits and valves, — HV, LV and communications conduits/pits, — LV and HV electrical works including sub-stations, switchgear and transformers, — earthing systems, — electrical control and protection systems, — lighting, — testing and commissioning.
