Tender description

The tender procedure has been abandoned. The tender for the X -ray equipment should have been advertised with the Pre Contract Information (PCI), which should express the minimum standard of building works required by the University. Without this information we are unable to compare like for like the quotations received for building works from various building contractors. Not only does this create an issue to retro fit an assessment against criteria the bidders have not been provided with, but also potentially leaves us non-compliant with Construction Design and Management regulations. Note: It is expected that a new tender procedure will be launched for this procurement later this year.
