Housing First Psychologist Service

Tender description

The service will have in place clinical governance procedures and a framework of accountability for continually improving the quality of their services and safeguarding high standards of care and excellence in clinical care. The provider will understand and clinically deliver a service that addresses the core issues that drive homelessness including trauma (whether in childhood or adulthood), personality disorder and chronic mental health disorder experience (such as chronic PTSD or serious mental illness). The Housing First staff will need to respond to the often unmet need for psychologically informed emotional support and build up consistent and trusting relationships. Hence, the service will need to develop itself in relation to psychologically informed approaches. The provider will support the Housing First service to develop and acquire the necessary skills and tools to deliver such a service. **Merseytravel is procuring these services on behalf of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Any legal agreement entered into as a result of this procurement process will be with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.**
