Tender description

Lowfield Green is a development which will provide housing, a care home, a community housing scheme and nearly 2 acres of public open space. The Council is looking to procure a CQC registered residential care provider or EU equivalent accredited who will develop and operate the care home on the Lowfield site. The design of the care home will be appropriate and sympathetic to the residential development and the local area. While outline planning has been secured for an 80 bed care home, it is for the bidder to determine the optimal capacity based on commercial reality and to seek full planning approval. The Council will contract back 25 beds and thus the standard of care to be provided is a major element of the qualitative evaluation process.
