Tender description

The British Council is looking to procure the supply of a minimum of approximately 3 500 enterprise computers (laptops, all-in-ones and desktops). We are looking for a global provider with an enterprise range of equipment to support a global refresh — it is anticipated that a contract will run for 12 months, but may be extended to 24 months. The machines must be Windows Autopilot compatible by 1.7.2019. The British Council intends to run this procurement using an invitation to tender to determine qualitative criteria and the an electronic auction to determine price (details will be provided at a later stage). The British Council intends to hold a supplier day in May 2019. The exact dates will be announced through the In-Tend portal where interested suppliers can/should register expressions of interest (see Section VI.3) of this PIN for the link). This notice aims at reducing time limits for receipt of tenders. Depending on responses to the PIN, the British Council may decide to split the procurement into 3 lots (laptops, all-in-ones, desktops). The invitation to tender documents will have the exact numbers of machines for each corresponding lot. The British Council will require delivery to all our global locations with the potential for specific ordering, tax, duty, currency, invoicing, contracting and payment requirements, which will be covered in detail in the invitation to tender documents.
