Tender description

Wolverhampton Homes (The Client), an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO), requires an established and competent Contractor (The Contractor) to provide general building and associated mechanical and electrical works (repairs and maintenance services) to both void and occupied properties throughout the City of Wolverhampton. The Contractor is required to provide and be responsible for the provision of all services and meeting response and rectification times stated within the contract documents, including any work provided by sub-contractors. Following a review of the use of sub-contractors by the in-House Repairs and Improvement Teams it was noted that a contract with a general building contractor is required to support the in-house teams at peak times of demand. The scope of works will include general building and associated mechanical and electrical works excluding scaffolding and asbestos works) for the Repairs Service, works carried out by Building Solutions and Voids teams and works carried out by Contracts and Compliance teams also.
