Tender description

London Gateway Port Limited wishes to expand its automated/semi automating container terminal. The scope includes the design, manufacture, supply, installation and commission of eight (8) straddle carriers to transfer containers between ship's side and container stacks served by automatic stacking cranes. The straddle carriers shall have the capability of future automation and interface with yard management system allowing automatic (operator-less) transfer of containers between the ship's side and container stacks. The supplier shall be required to have the capability to deliver full automation software for fully automated straddle carriers.
