Tender description

Swindon Borough Council require a suitably qualified managed service provider for any type of children's social care cases for set periods of up to 12 weeks. Each round may focus on a different aspect of children’s social care, dependant on where capacity is required, this includes fostering services, care leaver activity, statutory assessments, children in need, child protection and children looked after work. The provider must be able provide any type of social care services at short notice. Essentially these are additional trained resources who can support permanent staff. It is anticipate contracting for one guaranteed piece of work but where an additional requirement may be identified at short notice, a key criteria will be to mobilise and provide this service within a 3 week period. The contract is for 3 years commencing March 2019, the approved, estimated budget range is up to 630 000 GBP, maximum potential contract value 1 000 000 GBP with no commitment to spend.
