Tender description

Land quality services to include for ground water monitoring, professional services, remediation works and waste characterisation and management, specialist characterisation and minor remediation services and land quality analytical services. Routine groundwater sampling including shipping of samples to an off-site commercial laboratory, analysis and provision of associated reports. The sampling is conducted to fulfil regulatory requirements. The scope does not include soil sampling or site investigation/exploratory work but may include a minor element of surface water and sediment sampling. Land quality characterisation/site investigation and small scale remediation (less than 500 000 GBP). Services required are intrusive site investigations conducted for characterisation purposes and associated groundwater and soil sampling. Investigations, analysis and reporting on the extent and classification of the radiological contamination and the appropriate dismantling techniques, treatment and remediation where necessary. Requirement for commercial laboratories to analyse soil and groundwater samples obtained for land quality purposes.
