Rapid Access Residential Detox and Rehabilitation for Rough Sleepers

The City invites quotations for specialist substance misuse provider to deliver an innovative Residential Detoxification and Rehabilitation service for complex Rough Sleepers within the City of London. The service must: - Be will be available for individuals who present with complex support needs, mainly centered around problematic use of substances; and - Be rapidly accessible and have a low threshold for admittance, whilst maintaining clinical procedure to ensure the process is safe. The service will be available for Rough Sleeping individuals who present with complex support needs, mainly centred around problematic use of substances. The unique geographical situation of the City means that substances are extremely accessible for the rough sleeping population. The relative ease in both funding and obtaining substances has limited the success of the existing substance misuse support services. The duration of the contract is 1 years, subject to the right of the City (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to 1 year. The maximum length of the contract is therefore 2 years. The deadline for tender submissions for this opportunity is May 20th 2019, 12 noon.
