Tender description

The University of Portsmouth is equipping a state of the art eye clinic In order to provide world leading ophthalmic care, we are seeking a number of pieces of diagnostic equipment for the examination of the internal eye, external eye and assessment of visual function. This tender is for the provision of key diagnostic instruments for used within the public facing eye clinic. Scope of services required this tender is split into 5 lots. However, for Lot 2 we also require a proposal for a lease option as well as a purchase price. Suppliers may apply for single or multiple lots. Fulfilment of this tender will require all the described lots for this tender to be delivered and installed/commissioned before the deadline of w/c 23.7.2018, this is a mandatory requirement. The University reserves the right to purchase additional equipment within the scope of this contract at a later date i.e. upgrades or future requirements that are linked to the products within this contract. Qty x 1 swept source optical coherence tomographer description swept-source optical coherence tomographer minimum specification combined anterior and posterior swept-source OCT, with colour fundus photographic capability. Using imaging wavelength in vicinity of 1 050 nm. To be supplied on instrument table, with appropriate image processing software and all necessary hardware, set-up and training. QTY 1 Ultra-widefield retinal camera minimum specification ultra-widefield retinal camera, able to provide examination out to the far retinal periphery capable of capturing a 2 000 retinal image in a single capture. This minimum specification is required to enable our students the best possibility of retinal examination and enhanced patient care. Supplied with instrument table/stand, software interface and all necessary hardware, set-up and training. Please also supply a leasing option for this lot. Qty x 2 automated perimeter description electric automated perimeter with range of screening and diagnostic testing functions. Minimum specification automated perimeter, capable of key glaucoma diagnostic tests (24-2, 30-2, 10-2, Sita Standard, Sita Fast, Full threshold) as well as screening tests and Esterman Driving test. With maximum temporal range of 900, 30 cm testing distance and fixation control options. Supplied with instrument table, all necessary hardware (e.g. printers), set-up and training. Qty x 1 kinetic perimeter description goldmann-type kinetic perimeter minimum specification kinetic perimeter capable of providing precise kinetic quantitative perimetry. Supplied with neutral density filters, mobile instrument table, set-up and training. Qty x 2 non-contact tonometer description non-contact tonometer minimum specification computerised non-contact tonometer, capable of measuring ocular pressure up to 60 mmHg in 1 mm steps, supplied with instrument table, all necessary hardware, required software, set up and training.
