Tender description

Provision of advocacy services for the citizens of Bristol. Provision of care act advocacy, to involve individuals who would experience substantial difficulty and have no appropriate individual, in key processes and interactions with the LA and other organisations as required for safeguarding enquiries or reviews. Lot 2: Services — Independent mental health advocacy for people detained under the mental health act or who are under a community treatment order. Independent mental capacity advocacy including deprivation of liberty safeguards to help vulnerable people who lack capacity. BME Advocacy for people from BME communities who have a mental health issue. In-patient advocacy for patients with a mental health issue. Outreach advocacy and citizen advocacy for people who have a primary need of mental ill health or learning disability, who do not meet the criteria of statutory advocacy services. The services covered under the scope of this lot include independent health complaints advocacy, enabling individuals to make a complaint about NHS care. This also includes independent advocacy for adult social care complaints (for those eligible for independent care act advocacy), this supports those eligible for independent care act advocacy to complain about their social care.
