Tender description

Durham County Council recognise the need for a holistic support model that will help to create a pathway of provision for single males and females who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. A person centred approach to those who would struggle to access accommodation without the help and assistance from support services. The service will provide different levels of support in a range of accommodation provision, to those clients in need who have presented to housing solutions. This homeless support service will be delivered as one service with 4 distinct interlinking elements: — assessment centre – including temporary accommodation, — supported accommodation, — outreach with attached support, — independent living (support from housing solutions). This procurement is issued under an open tender process in line with Public Contracts Regulation 2015, under Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for contracts for social and other specific services (light tough regime).
