Tender description

To supply liquid fuel essential for the operation of bus and rail operations throughout the Translink network in Northern Ireland. Translink is reviewing its current requirements of fuel for its bus and rail operations. Indicative annual volumes for each fuel are: — ULSD 10 ppm for road use: 37 000 000 litres per annum, — ULSD 10 ppm for off road use: 11 000 000 litres per annum, — 28 sec Kerosene (Heating): 1 000 000 litres per annum, — annual contract value approx. 35 000 000 GBP. It is anticipated that this contract will commence on 1.4.2020 Before embarking on a tender process, Translink wishes to engage with the market place to gather intelligence which will inform the sourcing strategy for this contract and thus, the procurement process. We are therefore seeking to engage with experienced contractors, which are capable of fulfilling all of the requirements listed above. It is the intention of Translink to invite suitably interested economic operators to present during month of May 2019 (days, dates and times to be confirmed).
