Tender description

Supply of apheresis collection systems (incorporating equipment, harnesses, maintenance and consumables) which are suitable for collection of multiple dose platelets. This is an interim arrangement based on the current framework and will be for a maximum period of 8 months whilst the new contract is finalised and implemented. It can be utilised by all blood services listed as beneficiaries to the framework including the Welsh Blood Service, Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service, Irish Blood Transfusions Service and the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service. Note some blood services may transfer over to the new contract at different times however, they all need to ensure continuity of supply and maintenance during this period. This arrangement shall expire on 31.12.2019.
