Who Speclialist Work With Based within a IT Project Teams This will include working with the cancer teams to ensure that the IT functionality is in place for the implementation of the relevant elements of the Recovery Package (Holistic Needs Assessment, Treatment Summaries & Cancer Care Reviews) The post holder will also be responsible for system implementation that will support teams in the design of stratified pathways and changing how patients are followed up. What Specialists Work On The successful candidate will support the Implementation of the Infoflex System in line with the Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance delivery plan. This will involve working with the East Kent CCGs, Macmillan GPS, Cancer Alliance stakeholders and the other acute hospitals in Kent & Medway to deliver the IT element of the programme. The successful candidate will implement the IT function that will support the delivery of the Kent and Medway Cancer Alliance objectives. The post holder will also be responsible for system implementation that will support teams in design of stratified pathways and changing how patients are followed up. Where the Work Takes Place Based in Folkestone but will involve travel all around Kent and Medway. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Preferred Option 3 days a week, but would consider 5 days a week Mon-Fri Work Location Based in Folkestone but will involve travel all around Kent and Medway. Security Clearance Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Extensive experience of working in a project environment Extensive experience of work with different project management methodologies Knowledge of NHS Cancer systems, specifically Infoflex, and business requirements of differing Trusts and NHS organisations in Kent and Medway Experience of using high level IT functionality Nice to Haves Knowledge of or experience within the Kent & Medway Cancer Alliance Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies applicable to health and clinical practice.
