Tender description

Netspot (gallium Ga 68 dotatate) is a radioactive diagnostic agent indicated for use with positron emission tomography (PET) for localization of somatostatin receptor positive neuroendocrine tumours. The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust needs to purchase Netspot (gallium Ga-68 dotatate). There is no other available treatment as effective available on the NHS – Ga-68 dotatate scan can be used in PET imaging. PET imaging provides greater resolution and speed of imaging and therefore diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumours.
