South Worcestershire Development Plan Review Infrastructure Study

Tender description

Malvern Hills District Council invited Tenders from potential consultants on behalf of the south Worcestershire Councils (SWC) (Malvern Hills District Council, Worcester City Council and Wychavon District Council) for the provision of an Infrastructure Study, to help to inform the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review (SWDPR). The SWDPR Infrastructure Study will enable the SWCs to review and roll forward the existing South Worcestershire Infrastructure Development Plan (IDP) to inform the ongoing review of the South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP). The revised South Worcestershire Infrastructure Delivery Plan will give details of the infrastructure that is required to support the growth set out in the revised SWDP. The information set out in the IDP will be used to review the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Regulation 123 list and to inform and support negotiations with developers about site specific s106 and s278 (and other relevant) agreements to contribute towards their impact on the local and strategic transport network.
