Refuse recycling services

Tender description

Contract to process, recover, recycle and if necessary appropriately dispose of non-recyclable or other unacceptable waste materials arising from Rugby Borough Council's collection of co-mingled recycling. The contract will also include a haulage service — the contractor will transport the dry recyclable material from the hunters lane depot to the contractor's delivery point. Rugby Borough Council (RBC) invited tenders for a contractor to process, recover, recycle and if necessary appropriately dispose of non-recyclable or other unacceptable waste materials arising from Rugby Borough Council's collection of co-mingled recycling. Lot 1: provides the economic operator with an opportunity to fulfill the above requirements without providing a haulage service. Please note that there is no guarantee that this lot shall be awarded. Selection of lots to be awarded is at the full discretion of the Council. Full details of the requirement, the evaluation criteria and how to apply are provided in the tender pack the requirement was divided into 2 lots, we shall be awarding: Lot 2 only: Specified Services (with Haulage Costs); Lot 1: Specified Services (without Haulage Costs).
