Tender description

OMP will work with the marine supply chain to deliver scopes of work at EMEC Berth 5, Orkney, UK, that include but is not restricted to the following: 1) Recovery of steel chain clump weights and recovery of seabed electrical cable including recovery of cable connector housing. Supporting ROV operations, working on a minimum 3-point mooring, and or holding accurate position in the tide. Expected completion date: July 2019; 2) Installation of steel gravity anchor systems using specialist hydraulic (free issue) tooling in strong tidal flow, EMEC, Orkney. Working on a minimum 3-point mooring deploying anchors to an accuracy of 2 m using survey equipment, supporting ROV operations. Expected completion date: October 2019; 3) Installation of anchor ballast into anchor systems in strong tidal flow, EMEC, Orkney. Including maintaining position accurately in the tidal flow without use of mooring system. Expected completion date: March 2020. Refer to Section 3 of tender specification.
