LB Hillingdon - Provision & Management of a Christmas Market

Tender description

The Service Provider provides and manages a high quality Christmas Market (the “Market”) to be held in Uxbridge Town centre in November and December 2019. The Market period shall be a minimum of 24 days up to and including Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24th December 2019). The Service Provider shall also repeat the Market in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The Market is provided and managed in accordance with the requirements set out in this Specification and the Agreement and also in accordance with the Service Provider’s Method Statements. Market Location - The Market takes place only within the Pedestrian area of Uxbridge High Street as shown in Appendix C (the “Market Area”).Consideration should be given to the existing street traders located in permanent pitches in the High Street and space provision should be made so that existing traders can continue to trade without disruption. The Council encourages dialogue and communication between the Service Provider and existing street traders to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place. Duration of trade The Market dates are not fixed but shall run for a minimum duration of 24 days up to and including Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24th December 2019). The maximum duration shall not exceed 40 days.
