Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council has a requirement to provide 2 services for adult adoption counselling and also information exchange services between birth family members and adopted family members. A contract has bee negotiated which will help support up to 160 adopted people and birth relatives with an adult adoption counselling service per annum. This service will include a records search, tracing, counselling and reunion service to both adopted people and birth relatives. In addition the contract will also provide 300 information exchanges between natural parents, relatives, adopters and children who have been adopted.
