Strategic Safety, Health and Environmental Review

Tender description

The purpose of this commission is to review our current safety, health and environmental management systems, processes and documentation in the context of statutory and regulatory safety, health and environment duties and requirements, regulator’s guidance and industry best practice e.g. HSG68, leading safely at work. This to include :- • Homes England policies, procedures and guidance. • Safety, Health and Environmental management organogram(s) and SHE roles and responsibilities; • Mechanisms for reporting SHE performance to the Executive and the Board; • Auditing and monitoring procedures and examples; and • Review current health and safety team resources and capacity to deliver an effective health, safety and environmental support service. Based on the interview discussions and general observations, the review should also provide a view on how well developed the organisation’s culture is with regards to safety, health and the environment. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/homesengland-contracts-and-tenders
