Tender description

The Council is seeking an innovative provider to deliver accommodation and care in a supportive home for up to 12 service users aged over 18, with a primary mental health diagnosis. The primary aim of the service is to support service users in attaining independence — supporting them for a period of up to 2 years, until they have developed the capability of living independently within the community, possibly with a step down to supported living ahead of full independent living. The Council is procuring this service on behalf of 3 commissioning organisations which are: — Bedford Borough Council, — Central Bedfordshire Council, — Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. The parties to the contract will be The Council and the service provider. Providing accommodation and care to support people with mental illness to progress towards independent living.
