Scaffolding Services Dynamic Purchasing System

Advantage South West runs a procurement consortium for public sector housing landlords (Housing Associations and Local Authorities). Our Members (14 organisations owning 130,000 properties) have asked us to put together a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for scaffolding services to include erection, hire and dismantling on (mainly) domestic properties. A DPS is essentially an approved contractor list. As our members cover a large geographical area applicants can identify the geographical areas they can operate in. Applicants are not required to cover all geographical areas. Following the creation of the DPS our members will run their own mini-competitions for their specific requirements. Should the spend on the DPS approach the threshold then we would expect to to re-advertise for a new DPS.
