Tender description
The Department for Education (DfE) is looking to provide free sanitary products to schools and post-16 education providers across England through a procurement to appoint a single provider or network of providers In March 2019, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced that the DfE will lead a scheme to provide access to free sanitary products in all schools and colleges in England. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/spring-statement-2019-what-you-need-to-know The DfE is currently exploring a number of delivery models and would welcome the opportunity to discuss with the market to ensure our chosen approach will lead to the best outcomes for our stakeholders. The DfE intends to hold an initial market engagement event at 11:00 on Tuesday 23rd April in London . The purpose of this event is for all potential suppliers to gain a better understanding of the DfE's requirements and to provide an opportunity for organisations to network. Please note that limited spaces are available to attend this session in person, and spaces will be given on a first come-first serve basis. Audio dial-in will be offered once sessions are full. We are also offering 1-2-1 discussions immediately following this event for any organisations who would be interested. These sessions will be limited to 30 minutes and will also be on a first-come first-serve basis. To register for this event, please contact PP.PROCUREMENT@education.gov.uk . We also intend to publish a short survey, a link to which will appear here shortly. If you have a non-commercial interest in this procurement and would like to contribute ideas, please send these to PP.PROCUREMENT@education.gov.uk
