Provision of Outside Broadcast Services

Tender description

The BBC has on-going requirements for Outside Broadcast facility providers to support the BBC’s coverage and delivery of numerous titles across various departments, genres, events and sports. The purpose of these Outside Broadcast services is to produce and transmit live or as-live broadcasts. The exact broadcast services, facilities and personnel provided by those suppliers awarded a Framework Agreement will vary in each engagement. These services and facilities are typically delivered as ‘wet-hire’ arrangements operated by personnel provided by the supplier, although each engagement can contain a small element of dry-hire operated by personnel provided by the BBC. The requirements covered under this Framework are exclusively television / audio visual. Out of scope are the requirements for Radio OBs, Satellite News Gathering Vehicles and Systems Integration. The BBC is acting on its own behalf and as an agent for all BBC subsidiaries.
