Provision of An Online Prospectus & Application Solution

Leicester City Council is seeking to commission an online prospectus and application system to support the process of the transition of students from year 11 into post 16. Leicester City Council are commissioning this on behalf of schools and colleges in Leicester, to enable students to research courses and apprenticeships and make applications to progress into post 16 education and training. It will allow students' applications to be supported and monitored by schools, or where appropriate, other host establishments, or the Local Authority (LA). It will allow applications to be received by providers, to manage their application process, and to make offers. The LA will be able to download a range of reports on the details, progress and outcomes of student applications in order to oversee the September Guarantee process. Initially there will be 22 schools and 3 colleges to start with, but this could grow during the contract term and the growth could include Leicestershire County schools or colleges. The successful bidder's solution must accommodate an increase or decrease in number of schools or colleges.
