Tender description

Removal of the existing heating boilers, flues, insulation, control and isolation valves, and redundant pipework. As well, as the provision and installation of new heating boilers, flues, circulation pumps, pipework, dirt/air header, distribution pipework, gas, insulation, control and isolating valves, modified control panel and associated equipment to be installed in the boiler-room at Public Health England, Chilton. Address: Public Health England, Harwell Campus, Didcot, Oxford, OX11 0RQ. The extent of the works covered for in this specification which are to be fully allowed for within the tender sum are as follows:- ï‚· Remove redundant plant. ï‚· Install new plant in the boiler room. ï‚· Modify existing Trend control panel. ï‚· Install new gas regulator and solenoid valve. ï‚· Modify concrete boiler base ï‚· Provide all materials, labour, plant and sundries etc. necessary to ensure provision of a complete working installation as indicated and implied within this specification and shown on associated drawing. ï‚· Provide new connection to external foul drain and provide new trapped gully. ï‚· New gas supply to new plant. ï‚· Install new flue liner. ï‚· Paint floor of plantroom. ï‚· Make good builders work. ï‚· Co-ordinate Builders and Electrical Works. ï‚· Clear site of all redundant materials and leave in tidy condition. ï‚· Provide 3 copies of Record Drawings and complete Operating and Maintenance Manuals (including a CD copy) and include on-site instruction to staff. All new control panels, wiring and containment shall be the responsibility of the contractor as part of this contract.
