Tender description

Transport for London (TfL)/London Underground (LU) intend to go to tender for the requirement of a logistics service, for our Track Delivery Unit (TDU). This service, expected to consist of between 10-20 7,5 tonne vehicles, will be required to collect waste from various LU depots located within the M25. Where materials are to be disposed of, spoil will be loaded by LU staff at site for disposal at the waste depots where it will be recycled and some equipment and/or materials will be transported back to any of the depots. In addition, this service will include occasional possession works, lasting significantly longer than one 8 hour shift. For this, the contractor will be required to comply with ULEZ regulations (i.e. Euro VI diesel), FORS Silver, WRRR and Waste Carrier Licence. Any future procurement of any services, supplies or works by TfL would be carried out strictly in accordance with any relevant obligations under the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016.
