Integrated Healthcare services for HMP Whatton. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England — Midlands is carrying out a market assessment for the provision of Integrated Healthcare Services at HMP Whatton. For this service provision, NHS England would like to encourage innovative solutions including strategic alliances which will deliver value for money and improved services to patients. The service provider(s) will be required to deliver an outcome based high quality and integrated service. HMP Whatton is a specialist treatment centre for adult men convicted of sexual offences. The prison requires an Integrated Healthcare service which consists of Primary Healthcare to include GP and Nursing care, Mental Health service to include primary care and secondary care, Integrated Substance Misuse services, Dental, Optometry, Physiotherapy Infectious Diseases, Pharmacy and Health Promotion. This service is expected to be fully operational by 1.4.2020. Indicative Funding (pending approval and further analysis) available for the Services is 2 869 480 GBP p/a. NHS England aims to offer a contract opportunity for a 3 years with the option to extend on an annual basis for a maximum of 1 further year. (i.e.3 + 1), subject to market feedback and internal approval. The aim of the market engagement exercise is to inform potential providers on the opportunity and to assist the commissioner in deciding on the most appropriate strategy for the future procurement. Organisations who wish to attend the Market engagement event should register their interest by 12:00 noon 30.4.2019. Any submitted response to this PIN notice will not automatically entitle your involvement in any future procurement exercise.
