Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of North Lincolnshire CCG (NLCCG) and is managing this procurement process. NLCCG are commissioning Integrated Musculoskeletal and Chronic Pain Service. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend by a further 2 years. NLCCG are commissioning Integrated Musculoskeletal and Chronic Pain Services. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend by a further 2 years. Scope includes services within the current AQP MCATs services, community pain services and elements of service within the current Acute and Community contract: — outpatient orthopaedic services, — outpatient and community pain management services, — MSK services including physiotherapy, — diagnostics including access to imaging, biochemistry, pathology, — access to appropriate podiatry and orthotic services. The financial threshold for this service provision for the whole contract term (3 years with option to extend for a further 2 years) is approximately 6 800 000,00 GBP. This procurement process will mirror that of the restricted procedure as in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 in respect of health care services under the light touch regime, Regulations 74-76 and the national health service (procurement, patient choice and competition) (No 2) Regulations 2013. As part of this restricted process, a minimum of 5 and maximum of 6 bidders will proceed to the ITT stage. Note all bidders will be required to respond to the selection questionnaire (SQ) at the same time as submitting their ITT responses by the deadline provided within the tender documents. Unsuccessful bidders will be notified if unsuccessful following evaluation of the SQ stage.
