Tender description

Warwickshire County Council are looking to commission a single provider to provide a countywide Warm and Well in Warwickshire service, with the aim of reducing fuel poverty in Warwickshire and protecting those who are most vulnerable to the health effects of living in cold homes. The service will have 2 overarching functions: 1) Provision of information advice and guidance; 2) Coordination and management of the provision of physical interventions including boiler/heating system repairs and boiler replacements. Warwickshire CC wish to commission a single provider to deliver a Reducing Fuel Poverty and staying Warm and Well in Warwickshire — Information, Advice and Guidance and Physical Intervention Services within Warwickshire through an open tender process. Applicants should be aware that volumes and block contract amounts may increase if additional funding becomes available or may decrease if funding reduces, during the term of the contract. The services may also be subject to modification in order to meet future changes in demands/needs or new initiatives. The Initial contract term is 2 years with further options to extend for periods up to 60 months (up to 16.9.2026) 60 months being the maximum available extension periods at the discretion of the Council based on the contract performance of the successful applicant. The provider will also be expected to seek and apply for external funding/grant opportunities to supplement the activities in this contract and contribute to warm and well service objectives.
