Tender description

CPI is seeking to create a multi supplier framework for the provision of a Hook Up and Engineering Services to CPI. The framework will be valid for 3 years from the start date of the contract with the possibility of a further year’s extension which would be agreed between all parties. The hook up and engineering contractors will support and facilitate the installation and commissioning of any new or used equipment procured by CPI or their customers and clients, as well as the relocation or modification of existing equipment at all of CPI’s sites. This will include work necessary to ensure equipment is accessible and operational in the facility and assist in the movement and/or installation of equipment, plus the connection, discussion and/or reconnection of equipment to the services, divided into lots listed within the ITT. The electrical design of single phase systems at 240V and three phase systems at 415V. Electrical installation, modification and testing of single phase (240V) and three phase (415V) systems. Mechanical design – The production of tool books from manufactures specs and manuals, including but not limited specifying pipework and sizes, extract requirements and CAD Design. Gas process pipe work - Gas process pipe work including Compressed Dry Air (CDA), Nitrogen (liquid gas supply), specialist bottled gas supplies such as oxygen, argon etc. Mechanical connections of gas systems may include onsite and offsite fabrication of pipe work and orbital welding. Liquid process pipe work including process cooling water (PCW), chemical supplies of acids, bases and solvents, ultra pure water (UPW), chemical drains and the central vacuum system. LEV and ducting design services Local Extract Ventilation – fabrication and connection and commissioning of ducting to the solvent and acid LEV system General mechanical welding and fabrication. General offloading and move-in of equipment – provision of labour, forklift and driver Offloading and move-in of large, high value, heavy, or sensitive equipment or items
