Tender description

The City of London Corporation is seeking to appoint dockless cycle hire operators to participate in a trial of a new approach to managing dockless cycle hire. The trial will help inform the City Corporation’s future approach to dockless cycle hire, including in the event of regulatory powers being brought into force. The trial is expected to start in May 2019 and run for a minimum of six months. The City Corporation intends to select up to three operators that meet our selection criteria and agree to our terms to participate in the trial. Each selected operator will be given agreement to deploy a fixed number of bikes within the Square Mile and operate their dockless hire scheme for the duration of the trial. Bikes will only be allowed to be deployed or left by users at agreed locations. Please the attached Cycle Hire Trail advert for further details.
