Tender description

The aim of this tender exercise is for Stonewater to appoint a single supplier to assist with the optimisation of required services (VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix, Netscaler SDX, Palo Alto Firewalls, LT and Cisco telephony and Call Centre (Finesse), Switching switching). In addition, this supplier will manage all maintenance requirements of the networking equipment and Cisco products within the Datacentres and offices (patching and firmware upgrades) and providing necessary reports to support the service. Stonewater also expects the appointed supplier to be able to provide fourth line support for all operating systems and hardware against agreed service levels. The supplier will be expected to assist the infrastructure team with identified projects, as and when required, including elements of design, implementation and associated documentation however these do not form part of the existing support contract and will be costed separately. The procurement will be run as an OJEU compliant restricted process, with no acceleration being applied. Due to the nature of the service and the likely amount of market interest, the option to use a restricted procedure will allow a better quality of shortlisting.
