School cleaning services

Tender description

Liverpool City Council seeks suppliers to deliver a range of cleaning services for schools within the Liverpool City Region. This requirement will be delivered through a 3 lot Framework Agreement: Lot 1: Managed Cleaning Services (Ordinary Wage); Lot 2: Managed Cleaning Services (Real Living Wage); LOT 3: Cleaning Consultancy Services. Provision of cleaning services to schools throughout the Liverpool City Region including general cleaning, deep cleaning and potential decontamination activities as required. All employees of successful suppliers within this lot must be paid at least the national minimum wage. All employees of successful suppliers must be paid at least the real living wage as defined by the living wage foundation when conducting activities within this lot. Provision of cleaning consultancy services for Schools across the Liverpool City Region including: — audits of customer site(s), — gap analysis of existing cleaning services, — value for money analysis of existing or proposed cleaning services, — the development of bespoke specifications, statements of requirements, cleaning schedules and other technical documents for the customer site(s), — development of appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and/or service levels to meet the required quality standard, — the impartial assessment of tender responses, including the identification of areas for further clarification, — the production of a range of proposals for cleaning services with explanation and discussion with customers to identify the preferred route, — assistance in the mobilisation of cleaning services following contract award, — assistance in contract management and supplier improvement activities.
